West Indies will take on South Africa in the 3rd T20I at the National Cricket Stadium in Grenada. This match will take place on 29th June 2021.
South Africa stormed back in the 2nd T20I and defeated the West Indies by 16 runs to level the two-match T20I series 1-1.
The Proteas scored 166/7 in their allotted 20 overs, and then restricted the West Indies to a total of 150/9. With the series level, there is everything to play for when these two teams meet for the third T20I.
It will be interesting to see which team will take the lead in the series. South Africa captain Temba Bavuma, who took over as T20I captain ahead of this series, recorded his first win at the helm of the side.
With the bowling attack stepping up against arguably their biggest test in international cricket, the Proteas will look to generate some momentum ahead of yet another attempt to find ICC success.
Evin Lewis, Andre Fletcher, Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard(C), Andre Russell, Jason Holder, Fabian Allen, Dwayne Bravo, Obed McCoy, Kevin Sinclair
Reeza Hendricks, Quinton De Kock, Temba Bavuma(C), David Miller, Rassie van der Dussen, Heinrich Klaasen, George Linde, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Tabraiz Shamsi, Lungi Ngidi
It’s a dry surface with not much grass on it. It’s hard to control the run-flow in the initial overs and varying the pace will be the key for the bowlers in the death overs
