Shakib Al Hasan (26 off 17) fell to Adam Zampa and Bangladesh lost their third wicket to 47.
Alex Carey’s direct hit removed inform batsman Afif Hossain (19 off 12) as Bangladesh lost their fourth wickets in 12 overs.
Josh Hazlewood struck again to bring the fifth breakthrough for visiting Australia. It was short of a length from Hazlewood and Shamim went for a cross-batted swipe and it skews into the midwicket area where McDermott makes good ground and stretches to grab it 81/5.
